November 19, 2011 Meeting

KMPS next meeting will be Sunday, November 19, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at the Kansas University Geology collections storage facility. We hope as many members as possible will attend. We will meet with Una Farrell collection manager for the invertebrate fossil collections to explore and learn about this great fossil resource in Lawrence, Kansas. We will meet her at 10:00 am at the parking lot of the “Public Safety Building” on west Campus. If carpooling is needed or desired please let me know at 816-678-1943 or arrange it among yourselves. Ken Stalder may lead us on a separate field trip to collect fossils on the way back from KU. That will be discussed later. Of course our meetings are open to the public so please come and join us. As a reminder the annual dues were due in January but if you are joining for the first time dues will be $6.00 for the rest of the 2011.
